Spending 25 years in the Illinois Corrections System, Ivan transformed his time into an opportunity for growth, earning an Associate Degree, multiple trade certifications, and completing the Kaskaskia College Starting a Business program. Despite limited resources, he researched, wrote, and published his debut novel, Eleanor’s Wicked Epiphany, which became the first in a trilogy of highly rated books available on Amazon, Walmart, and Barnes & Noble. He also produced the audiobook version, ensuring his work could reach an even wider audience.

Through Fix Ur Face Books, Ivan offers creative writing classes, teaches self-publishing and marketing strategies, and provides free book promotion for participants in his programs.
